Celebrating Black History Month at BSC: Morgan Jones

During the month of February, Boeing South Carolina is honoring Black History Month by sharing the voices of our teammates.

Morgan Jones is a senior project manager for Business Operations at the Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina. Morgan has been with Boeing for six years, and she is co-chair of the South Carolina chapter of the Boeing Black Employees Association (BBEA-SC).

Jones believes Black History Month is a time to reflect on the past and think about what the future could hold.

“Black History Month is a time to take great pride in how far we’ve come as a people and a nation but to also acknowledge that there is still work to do,” she said.

Jones has been an active member of BBEA-SC since 2017 and has held several leadership positions within the organization.

Jones said that she comes from a family who deeply values celebrating and uplifting cultures, and she is passionate about serving her community. She often volunteers with BSC’s DreamLearners program and joins her teammates for other Boeing-sponsored community events.

“Black History Month is about remembering not just the struggle, but it’s also about celebrating and sharing our joy. Black history is American history,” Jones said.
