On Saturday, Sept. 14, Boeing South Carolina teammates participated in the 2019 Charleston Pride Parade. The Boeing Employees Pride Alliance (BEPA) and other volunteers helped organize BSC’s participation by designing and building a float for the parade. About 65 teammates and BSC site leadership walked in the downtown Charleston parade which covered King Street, ending at Colonial Lake.
The float included this year’s Boeing Pride logo, “#CHSPride” and, to represent South Carolina, two palmetto trees that formed a heart. The float was awarded first place for “Best Use of Pride Colors” by parade officials.
