Just like signing days for athletes, the 3rd annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Signing Day presented by Boeing on April 9 celebrated high school seniors from across the state as they make their commitments to some of the state and country’s top technical schools, colleges, and universities.
One of the students honored was Jamir Stukes. Stukes is the son of Dwayne Stukes, senior Operations manager in Aftbody.
“I’m really proud,” said Dwayne. “I realized how much he looks up to me. I didn’t quite know that, but the same thing happened with me and my dad. My dad worked in manufacturing for 50 years.”
