The coronavirus pandemic has increased demand for donations at food banks across the country. In response, Boeing is supporting an e-giving Food & Essentials Drive across all major sites. Boeing South Carolina’s drive continues through July 6. All funds raised will benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB). They serve 10 counties in South Carolina and provide meals to local families, children, seniors, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Since March 15, the LCFB has seen a more than 500% increase in emergency food assistance.
We have less than two weeks left to achieve our goal! Please help support the Food & Essentials Drive by making a donation directly through YourCause. Additionally, teammates can take advantage of the company’s Gift Match program, which will automatically match donations of $25 or more, dollar for dollar.
Boeing is also supporting the American Red Cross Sleeves Up campaign to help ensure the ARC has enough blood for patients who need it. This campaign is an opportunity for teammates to give back during the COVID-19 pandemic in a safe way and contribute to the Red Cross’s life-saving mission. Our goal is to get at least 50 donors each week to participate during Food & Essentials drive taking place June 8 – July 6. Pledge to give blood.
